Content Farm Vs. Personal Blogs: Which One Will Win?
January 29th, 2012
I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, so far we all agree that wordpress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.
Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, and I think its not a patentable idea, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.
Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you’re not going to just put spams on them,to write interesting content is always time consuming, its never easy to build successful blogs. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, look at this one, Solar Energy, the domain name is pretty good, and it has a lot of interesting posts, since this is not a themed blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. Check this one out, Jade Arts, this one has main theme, the content on the this site has a theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. there are more sites like these out there, though I guess you get the point already. Here is one last note, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, do some casual postings randomly, take one blog as example, Hand Tools, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
When you already have a few interesting blogs, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, follow the professional recommendations and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
